What the assistant is, how it turns your documents into cited answers, and why those answers can be trusted.
This page covers the whole shape of the product before any single setting: what the assistant actually does when someone asks it something, how a file becomes a searchable, citable document, and what the console's home page is telling you at a glance. Read this first — the rest of the manual assumes it.
Two ideas run through every article here and never change: an answer only ever comes from documents the asker is allowed to read, and every claim carries a citation back to the exact passage it came from.
