People & access

Accounts, invitations, groups, and the allow-only access model that decides who sees what.

Every person who can sign in, and everything they're allowed to read, is decided here. Users & invitations covers adding a person by hand — no passwords to set, just an email and an activation link. Import your team does the same in bulk, straight from a CRM, HR system or any other connected source that already keeps a member list. Groups is how you organise people into teams like eng or finance, so access is granted once, to many people, instead of person by person.

Access itself is allow-only: nobody is ever singled out of a document, only in. A person can read something because a group they belong to was granted it, because they were added by name, or because their email matches how a source shares it at the platform itself — Access is where all three routes, and the file map that shows exactly what they add up to, are explained. Every account — invited or active — holds one seat of the plan; nothing else here is metered or shown as usage.

Start with Users & invitations to add your first few people, Import your team if a connected source can save you the typing, Groups once you're granting access to more than one person at a time, and Access when you need to know exactly why someone can, or can't, see something.
