Set up Coda

Connect Coda to make your docs searchable — every page of every doc the token can see becomes a document. Read-only.

Before you start

  1. Documents → Coda, paste the token into API token.
  2. Optionally paste doc links or IDs into Docs, one per line, to sync only those docs; blank syncs every doc the token's owner can see.
  3. Choose access groups, Test, then Sync.

What comes in

DocsOptional doc links or IDs, one per line. Paste the link straight from the browser — only those docs sync. Blank syncs every doc the token can see.

Access

Each doc's own sharing is mirrored automatically to its pages: the people (or the whole domain, for a domain-wide share) the doc is shared with become its viewers here too. A doc whose sharing can't be read keeps the access groups chosen on the source instead. Allow-only throughout. Switch How access works to “One list for everything” under Permissions to put everything this source brings in under the chosen access groups instead.

A page's export is asynchronous on Coda's side — this connector polls briefly after a change and picks the page up on the next sync if the export hasn't finished. The sync is capped at 100 docs and 2,000 pages; docs or pages past the cap are held, not deleted, from what's already searchable.
