Sources
Connectors bring your organisation’s knowledge into the assistant — files and drives, mailboxes and chat, databases and business systems. Each takes one read-only credential; pick a category to set it up connector by connector.
Connectors are how the assistant learns what your organisation actually knows — files and drives, mailboxes and chat, databases and business systems, each turned into documents it can cite from. Every connector shares the same shape: one read-only credential you create in that provider's own console, pasted in once, never a broader sign-in and never write access.
Sync then runs on its own schedule from then on, and whenever you press Sync by hand — each pass compares against what's already indexed and processes only what changed. A source that can't be reached shows a clear error on its card and its existing documents stay searchable; nothing empties because a credential expired overnight.
Pick the category below that matches where your organisation's documents already sit — files and wikis, mailboxes, team chat, meetings, databases and CRM, commerce, feedback, back-office systems, or issues and support — and set up connectors one at a time from there. Connecting more than one source, even several in the same category, is normal and expected.

Where these credentials live
Every credential a connector asks for is created and owned by you, in that provider's own console — never Naxis Assistant's. There's no vendor approval to wait on: creating an API key or an app registration and pasting it in is normally a same-day task for whoever administers that tool.
