Meeting recorders and calendar scheduling turn what was actually said — and agreed — into something you can ask about. Connect Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Fireflies.ai, Granola, Gong or Fathom and every recorded meeting with a transcript becomes a dated minutes document; connect Calendly and your scheduling itself becomes searchable, bookings and all.

Every one of these is read-only, and each is set up with one credential from the provider — an API key or app credential pasted into the source, never a password. Most read a rolling window of history rather than everything ever recorded, and all of them keep what they've already brought in searchable even after the provider's own retention deletes the original — removing a document under Documents is the only way to take one back out.

Pick the recorder your organisation actually uses to capture calls — most run one system of record for meetings, though nothing stops connecting several. Where the provider names who was on a call or meeting, access can follow that automatically; where it doesn't, or for Calendly, the access groups you choose on the source are what decide who may ask.

Why some need transcription turned on and some don't

Teams and Zoom are calendar and calling platforms first — transcription is a feature you switch on, and only meetings recorded after you do have anything to bring in. Fireflies, Granola, Gong and Fathom exist purely to record and transcribe meetings, so every meeting they capture already has one; there's no separate setting to find.
