Set up Wrike

Connect Wrike to make your work searchable — each task becomes a document with its status, dates, description and comment thread, tied to the projects and folders it sits in and the people responsible, so “what did we ship” answers from the tasks themselves. Completed, deferred and cancelled tasks come in too. Read-only.

Before you start

  1. Documents → Wrike, paste the token as Permanent access token.
  2. Choose access groups, Test, then Sync.

What comes in

Access

Each task follows who it's shared with in Wrike. Its share list is matched by email, through Wrike's own contact list, to the accounts here, and those people are the only ones who see the document — re-checked on every sync. A task whose shares resolve to no email at all keeps the access groups chosen on the source instead. Access stays allow-only either way. Switch How access works to “One list for everything” under Permissions to put every task under the chosen groups instead. Wrike's members (groups and deleted users left out) are also offered to “import your team”.

Test names the account and counts the folders and projects the token can see; a rejected token reads “Wrike rejected the credentials”, and a token with no account behind it says so. The sync keeps the 3,000 most recently updated tasks, read newest first, and says when that cap is reached; a task that ages past it keeps its already-synced document rather than disappearing. If Wrike keeps rate-limiting a large first sync, it stops with “the next sync will catch up”. Revoke the token on Wrike's side and the next Test reports it rejected.
